Terms of Service
Effective date: July 28, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Redeploy HQ website, accounts, listings, and related services. By using the service, you agree to them. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
The marketplace's role
Redeploy HQ provides a venue and related tools for equipment discovery and introductions. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we are not the seller, buyer, broker, agent, auctioneer, insurer, carrier, equipment inspector, or party to a transaction between users. We do not process payment for equipment, hold equipment-sale funds in escrow, arrange title transfer, or guarantee a transaction. Fees for Redeploy HQ's own paid services are governed by the Billing & Paid Services Policy.
Listings and equipment
Listings and documents are supplied by sellers or other sources and may change, be incomplete, or contain errors. Equipment is offered subject to prior sale, withdrawal, and seller confirmation. You must conduct your own inspection, due diligence, verification of specifications, title, liens, safety requirements, regulatory approvals, transport, taxes, and suitability for your purpose. Do not rely on a listing, badge, document, or communication as engineering, legal, safety, environmental, tax, or professional advice.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep credentials confidential and promptly tell us about unauthorized use. You must provide accurate information and may not scrape or harvest the service, bypass access controls or rate limits, send spam, upload malware, impersonate others, infringe rights, publish unlawful or deceptive content, use the site to offer prohibited or unsafe goods, or interfere with the site or another user. We may suspend, remove, or restrict content or access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or compliance.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit, but grant Redeploy HQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for technical display, publish, distribute, and promote it as needed to operate and market the marketplace. You confirm you have all required rights, permissions, and approvals and that your content is accurate and lawful. Do not upload personal information, confidential information, or controlled technical information unless you are authorized to disclose it and intend the selected audience to access it.
Paid services
Paid accounts, listing boosts, featured placements, and other paid services are subject to the Billing & Paid Services Policy and the specific offer shown at checkout. A paid listing placement affects visibility only; it does not guarantee views, leads, sales, regulatory approval, inspection, priority support, or any particular business result. We may refuse, pause, or remove a paid placement if the listing or account breaches these Terms or Seller Listing Rules.
International access and trade compliance
The service may be accessed outside Canada, but we do not represent that it or a listing is lawful or available in every location. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and your transaction, including import, export, re-export, customs, sanctions, anti-bribery, tax, dangerous-goods, and end-user/end-use rules. You may not use the service in connection with a prohibited party, destination, end use, or transaction. See the International Marketplace & Trade Policy for additional requirements.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or trade usage. To the extent permitted by law, Redeploy HQ and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of CAD $100 and the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity, changes, and law
You will indemnify Redeploy HQ from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms. We may change or discontinue the service or these Terms; continued use after the effective date of a posted change is acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts located in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere or prevents a contractual restriction of your rights. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
